This new program has been developed to provide students with an understanding of basic principles of choreography while they apply their knowledge, skills and techniques of dance in formal dance presentations. Utilizing a professional dance studio, students will learn how to effectively communicate ideas, thoughts and feelings through ballet, jazz, modern and tap. The curriculum includes dance history, performance, dance nutrition, choreography, and dance production. Articulation agreement with RVCC is pending. Acceptance in the program requires an audition (see information below) and interview. Contact Ms. Jessica Cangelosi at 908-788-1119 ext. 2006 or email email@example.com to obtain additional information. Please note applications are due by March 31, 2014 .

Dancers should bring a 250-word essay explaining their desire to be a part of the Hunterdon County Polytech Dance Performance Program and their future college and career goals and interests.
