The Superintendent of Hunterdon County Polytech (HCP) and on behalf of the HCP Board of Education, invite you to participate in our Strategic Planning Process. This is an exciting time for Career and Technical Education (CTE) as CTE gains State and National attention for its’ role in meeting the demands of our workforce. We believe we are at a crossroads in determining how we can best meet the needs of Hunterdon County and ask for your input as we plan for our future. It is important to us that there is representation from all of our many stakeholders, including students, parents, board members, staff, businesses, organizations, government and community members, to participate in this initiative.

Three meetings, guided by N.J. School Boards Association, will be held at the Hunterdon Central Regional High School Commons and start at 7:00 p.m. Light fare will be provided. The meeting dates and topics are:

·       Meeting #1;  Monday, April 14   State of Schools - Meeting Outcome

·       Meeting #2;  Monday, May 12    Creating a Common Vision

·       Meeting #3;  Monday, June 16    Goals and Objectives

Participation in any or all of our meetings will be greatly appreciated. The results of each meeting will be posted on our website. To ensure that we have representation from all of our stakeholders at each meeting, we ask that you RSVP by emailing  or calling Gudrun Szierer at 908-788-1119 ext. 2002.

Applications for Culinary Arts, Baking & Pastry, Cosmetology, All Automotive Programs, Animal Technologies, Building Technologies, Nursing, Health Science, Law & Criminal Justice/Homeland Security, Early Childhood Education, Teacher Academy & Graphic Design due by April 15th.

The deadline has passed for 3D Computer Animation, Career Prep, Commercial Arts & Advertising Design, Gastronomy & Dance.

Tuesday Dinners at the Careers Cafe - Walk Across America!
April 22nd:  Adult & Continuing Education students will prepare & serve a "Walk Across America" menu for $25/person, beverage & tax included.  Take a stroll across America with West Cost Deviled Eggs, New England Clam Chowder and a few more stops along the way! Check out the menu at  Dinner is served promptly at 6PM.  Reservations are required and space is limited.  Reserve your table by calling 908-284-1444, ext 2122.  Cash or checks only, no credit cards please.

Up Front Cafe
The Up Front Cafe, a student run enterprise, is open Monday through Friday from 7AM to 11AM serving specialty coffees, teas and hot chocolate as well as salads, wraps, soups and pastries to go which change daily.  Email to get on the email list for daily specials and announcements.
